Product Description In a world that's complicated enough, the affordably priced PermaFocus binos are a relief for simple, fixed-focus, long-distance viewing. The wider field-of-view makes them ideal for spectator sports, distant wildlife observation or winter use with gloves. Thanks to quality fully-coated optics the action is bright and crisp and the ergonomic rubber housing means you won't drop them - even with gloves on.PRODUCT FEATURES: Fully coated optics for superior light transmission and brightness; Unique "Focus-Free" feature stays in focus at most viewing distances; Non-slip rubber armor absorbs shock while providing a firm grip.

perma focus January 6, 2009 Pamela A. Strong (Shoreham,Vt.) I have a pair of Bushnell 12x50 perma focus binoculars and like so much I had to buy 10x50's for my wife to enjoy and she loves them
Good and simple December 24, 2008 Raleigh Mclemore (Oakland, CA) This is our second set of two. Over a period of 7 years the previous pair got dropped or jostled and stopped being clearly focused. We take responsibility for the damage as we carry these things everywhere. I got a pair for my sixth grade students to watch the 70 turkey vultures that roost outside of my classroom (something to do with low test scores?). They use your own eyes to focus as you move. They are great for following moving objects because you don't need to worry about focusing. On our last trip to Alaska they worked well for everything and in extreme cold too. We like them alot. Problems? A bit heavy. Not perfect focus and don't work well for viewing night objects. Have lots of little areas where sand or dust can get stuck. They are useless for close objects and not good for small, close birds. The plastic neck strap breaks easy and is uncomfortable.
Binoculars December 2, 2008 Brian Waybright Very pleased with this product for the price. In use during deer hunting where close range viewing is not necessary, I have found them very useful. Have not been able to keep the roll down eye piece to stay down but am hoping that will fix itself in time. Overall, great for the price!
Only for long range, no Lasik October 16, 2008 B. Rogers (San Diego) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had a pair like this when I wore contacts and they were great. Now my eyes are 20/20 20/15, it's a no go now darn it. They also will not focus closer than 20 + or - yards. They are very clear and good binos just not for me. Longboard
Hard to beat bushnell! September 12, 2008 Bear Mountaineer (Bend, OR) I compared this with a similar powered Nikon and was sold right away. The Bushnell is usually cheaper but delivers everything the Nikon does if not more. The weight is just right and easily adjustable. This price is very good! The Bushnell website sells it for about $75 and I've seen it for as much as $100 in stores. I paid much more than this because I was in a tourist trap at the time. Buy it before you need it!
