I'm impressed. took shots from way up in the stands at a seahawks game (that doesnt necessarily mean i'm an idiot:) clowdy day and could still stop the football in motion,in bracketing mode.

I am very pleased with my lens the sharpness is very good. I am able to crop to half size or less and still print 11 X 14's with fine detail.
A tripod or a unipod is a must.

I purchaed this as a wedding gift for my sister and new husband who are active amateur nature photographers. They have tried other brands of lenses of this smae nature but have never been as satisfied with the Sony. Highly recommended by them to the Amazon community.
