Great Growing Potential December 30, 2008 Brudaddy (Brandon, MS USA) This Bag is great! I received this bag for a birthday gift, and was very pleased. I don't have but a couple of lenses and one camera body right now, but it gives me great growing potential. What I like most: The sections to put lenses, camera bodies, etc. are all movable. They are attached by Velcro and can be moved to accommodate any size object. I have seen on some other reviews that they didn't like how there is no top on the compartments to keep the lenses from falling out. Well, there is a top...it is called the top of the bag. It is not that big of a deal to have to lay the bag down to get something out. That keeps things from spilling out. Also, I have a tripod that I take with me sometimes. It can easily be attached with one of the straps on the side of the bag. Overall, I am very please with this bag, and think I will remain pleased for quite a long time.
Canon Deluxe Photo Backpack 200EG December 30, 2008 Gary Ploense (Bloomington, Illinois) Purchased the bag for my 40D after two months the zippers broke, and between B& H camera & Canon all I have gotten is the run around on replacement, each blames the other and neiter is willing to honor the 1 year warrenty! great bag terriable zippers. I have made several purchase's from B&H, lens etc, but never again!
pack just right for a hike. December 30, 2008 aidan (NC) i read some reviews before i ordered this pack. it just arrived today so i have'nt had a chance to test it in the field. i packed a Canon rebel XS, 2 lenses, external hard-drive. filters, remote, usb cord, charger. there's plenty more room left. i'm waiting for a Bounce-Swivel Flash (Metz 44-AF for Canon). there's room for that and a couple more lenses so it's plenty roomy for an amateurs kit. it's not too big nor too small. appears to be well made and worth the price. other reviews have said that the zippers creep open so i did a simple fix. i'm using a twist tie to hold the zipper ends together. when you open the zips, just leave the twist tie attached to one zipper pull. all in all, i'm happy with my bag.
Cheap zipper material December 26, 2008 P. Rhee (Arlington, VA United States) The other day, I was closing the main compartment and the metal zipper tab broke while i was pulling on it. 2 seconds later, the other tab broke. Just as a test, I wanted to see if i could break the remaining metal piece that was still attached and it broke like a cracker. Very cheap material! The tripod staps on the bottom are really hard to open and close. This bag was not well thought out.
